INSIDE SALES

Making it happen, keeping it real – every day

CargoBarn’s Inside Sales team is the engine to our company’s phenomenal growth. As a CargoBarn Inside Sales rep, the sky is the limit – you’ll have a carrier team at your disposal that can handle as much business as you can bring in, unlimited income potential, and all the training and resources you need to succeed.

In this position, you’ll make new business happen by bringing in new accounts through introductory and follow up calls, sales visits, referrals and more. When you get those new accounts, you’ll act as a liaison between the customer and the rest of the CargoBarn team – doing the real stuff that is the bread and butter of our daily operations. You will be responsible for bidding on customer shipments, and determining the best possible mode for the customer’s price and service needs. Once the shipments are tendered, our Inside Sales reps keep a watchful eye on their customer orders, from pick up to delivery, ensuring that the customer’s specific requirements are always being met.

Inside Sales reps receive two weeks’ paid vacation to start, and fully paid health insurance. You can accrue additional vacation time off based on your tenure with CargoBarn.

This position is not involved in the day-to-day operations of account management. Instead, you can be paid a lot of money for doing the fun stuff with customers, like traveling to great cities and taking cool people to dinner or golfing. It’s a tough life, but someone’s got to do it. And if you can consistently deliver heavyweight customers, it’s gonna be a sweet life, for sure.

CARRIER SALES

More excitement, and cash, than anything legal can ever deliver

If you master challenges quickly and get bored easily, Carrier Sales is the job for you. In this role, you’ll represent CargoBarn to an extremely important group: the carriers we rely on to get our customers’ freight moving.

At the Carrier Sales desk, there’s never a dull moment. There is always something to do in this action packed work environment; you’ll create your own base of carriers to work with on a daily basis, dealing with the curve balls that the road throws at you. Here’s how it works: Once the Inside Sales team brings the orders in, it is the Carrier Sales team’s responsibility to source available equipment from thousands of carriers across North America. The process includes communicating with carriers to see if they have a truck available for one of our many orders, negotiating pricing, and monitoring the carrier and the shipment through delivery.

  • Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate
  • Problem solve
  • Multitask
