Fresno, CA – CargoBarn Inc. today announced that it joined the SmartWaySM Transport Partnership, a innovative collaboration between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry designed to significantly reduce greenhouse gases and air pollution.
CargoBarn Inc. will contribute to the Partnership’s goal to reduce 33 to 66 million metric tons of carbon dioxide and up to 200,000 tons of nitrogen oxide per year by 2012 by improving the environmental performance of our freight operations. Carbon dioxide is the most common greenhouse gas, and nitrogen oxide is an air pollutant that contributes to smog. By joining SmartWay Transport Partnership, CargoBarn Inc. demonstrates its strong environmental leadership and corporate responsibility.

CargoBarn Announces “CargoBarn Cares,” A New Charitable Giving Program
January 3, 2011 | Fresno, CA
CargoBarn, a leading provider of transportation and logistics services, today announced its charitable giving program, CargoBarn Cares. Under the program, CargoBarn will reward referrals from current customers with a $300 donation to a charity of the referring customer’s choice. These customers can choose to direct the donation(s) to the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or Fresno State University. CargoBarn will effect the donation, which will have no impact on current or new customers’ service fees.
Donations are limited to one donation per referral. Current customers may refer as many new customers to CargoBarn as desired. There is no expiration date on this offer.
